For this assignment I am going to be photographing all the essentials needed to look after a horse without photographing a horse, I have chosen to photograph this because it is different and no one else will be doing anything like it, I also have my own horses so I have access to everything I will need to photograph.
I am going to be shooting on a digital camera for this assignment, I will be using my own camera which is a Canon EOS 70D. I have chosen to shoot on digital because I find it easier than film and it is also less expensive than having to buy multiple rolls of film and getting them developed.
I am hoping to create images that would be seen in a documentary or equestrian magazine, these photos would be accompanied by an article about horse care and the essentials needed. However I will not be writing the article as it is not needed or this assignment.
For this assignment I will not need to get any permission to take photos as I am taking them of all my tools/feed/hay which are all at the stables where I keep my horse so everything is in one place so I will not have to buy or search for anything I need.
The possible problems with this shoot will be if it rains and my camera gets wet/breaks, to prevent this from happening I will ensure I take the photos whilst it is not raining and if it starts to rain I will stop and recommence when it has stopped raining. This will not be hard to do because of having easy access to the things I will need.
